I have been working on the Tiger Eye lace scarf for a few weeks.  It's a tricky repeat, as I noted before - about 25 stitches and the number per row changes.  I'm using a Habu 100% silk, with a rougher texture (probably a tussah silk).  I first tried my #5 Addi Lace needles, and they grabbed the yarn like crazy - I could not easily slide the stitches for my work.  I considered bamboo but figured they would have the same problem.  So, off to the regular Addis for me!

However, the Addi needles have a rounder point, which made the k3tog stitches harder than they need to be.  I didn't need any more excuse to finally spring for the Knit Picks needle set!  I got the steel set, and so far I love them.  I'm moving much more quickly through the lace, and now can show you how pretty it is.

The color in this photo isn't right - the yarn has more of a golden tone... but at least you can see the lace.  Lovely, no?
