Webs, on closeout. But then also from a couple of other online shops, when I ran out of the yarn from Webs. What was going to be a 50% sweater for $50 ended up closer to $100.
7. Is it the yarn called for? Yes
8. How long did it take to knit? About four months, with a lot of stops.
9. Did I change anything? My gauge was huge with the needles called for. I went down two needle sizes. Otherwise all was as stated in the pattern.
10. What would I have done differently? Bought a ton of extra yarn to begin with.
Running out of yarn is a common problem wtih this sweater.
11. Were the instructions clear? Yes, the pattern is written really well.
12. What did I learn? Not much new - but it was a pleasant knit.
13. Was it worth it? Yes.
14. Would I do it again? Nope. This sweater is great once, but not interesting enough to do twice.
15. What seaming methods were used? Mattress stitch.
16. Will I knit with the yarn again? Yes, it was nice to work with.
17. Do I think I’ll wear it? Definitely.
18. Process or Product? Product in the end.
19. Do I have shoes to match? No.
20. Final Thoughts: I need to do a complex pattern next!
